Days of Ruin were formed in 2017 by ex-members of Road To Nowhere, Omnicide and Paranoia. Shortly after, Michael Stucki, former singer of Art of Phobia, joined the band. Musically, Days of Ruin can be roughly categorised as metalcore, although pigeonholes are no longer cool in 2022, which is why influences from death metal and other genres also find their way into the sound of the Bernese band.
The essence is easy to describe: Days of Ruin stands for music that moves. And when this energy is discharged live, no one is guaranteed to stand still.
Extinction is the first full-length album of Days of Ruin and was self-released in March 2020.
